Our club is based in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. Professor Kevin Cole of Harper College will present images and results of the Dawn space probe's visit to the asteroid Ceres. Having completed its visit to the asteroid Vesta in 2011-12, Dawn has been in orbit around its’ second target, Ceres, since 2015 and has produced some spectacular images and scientific results.
